Sally speaks at Sheridan

“I just want to tell you one more story about how much fun it can be to be a journalist and how kooky it can get.”

She’s had a United Nations door shut in her face in the streets of Khandahar. She’s been captured by the Taliban. And she was privy to the whereabouts of Bin Laden before anyone else.

Poised and elegant, Sally Armstrong, social justice journalist and author, visited Sheridan College last Thursday to educate a young journalism class about what she called, “the career of your lives.”
